At this point, a storm strikes, driving the Wormwood southeast. After leaving Port Peril, Captain Harrigan takes the Wormwood north across Jeopardy Bay, then steers southwest, passing to the east of Dahak’s Tooth on the fourth day and Motaku Isle on the seventh day. Unfortunately, removing the threat of the pirates by invasion is made almost impossible by the howling winds and treacherous currents of the Eye of Abendego, the permanent hurricane that rages just north of the Shackles.
